Pain and Going Home

It's probably not what it sounds like....
Click bait. Sorry XD
Alright, so let's do a brief recap of yesterday. I'd planned on having this post up by yesterday but, I was so tired.
We ended up going to visit our old church after many months of not doing so.
The reason we had to leave our old church is because it was too far for us to drive 45 minutes every Sunday and stay connected with living so far away.
So, we were really excited to go back and visit.
I honestly cried. Upon driving into the parking lot, people started waving at us.
It was such a wonderful time of visiting with old friends and dozens of hugs, high fives and...yes. I was crying.
It seriously does so much getting to see your best friends, hug them and have people welcome you 'home,' after months of being away. It was such a fun time.
One of my favorite things can't really be described in words. I can only say it was wonderful being able to spend time with my church family and share laughter, tears and celebration with them.
I had a couple of pictures I took with my friends.
I think it's been proven, I'm terrible at taking group photos but nevertheless
So, yeah. It was lit, fam.
Hehe. Anyway, after that wonderful morning/early afternoon, me and my family went to get lunch at Del Taco, where I excitedly bought a churro for dessert. #Churros4dayz
Here's a photo of that.

Isn't it glorious? I agree. After finishing that churro, we drove home so I could get ready for the night we had ahead, and get a few chores done. Also, side note - all day I was jamming to Alex Aiono. If you don't know who he is, I recommend looking him up because he's basically an angel who deserves to be loved and supported. He's also like my favorite singer right now...and that's saying a lot, because as previously stated in the introduction of this blog, I'm very passionate about music.... So yes, I rate Alex a 15/10. (I'm actually listening to him right now). But, enough of that! Back to the topic at hand.
As soon as we were ready, we left back out for our (current) church's girls bible study.
Except...it wasn't a regular bible study that night. It was supposed to be Zumba night, but that's not what it ended up being. I'd describe it more as a workout boot camp.
I'm still sore, to be honest.... But, it was so worth it. My good friend, Cherri, ended up showing up and it was an altogether fun night.
LOTS of stair climbing and jogging involved, but hey, if you're dying next to a friend, it's all good, right??
So, yes. Thus ends yet another day in the life. Very exciting in contrast against today, which consisted of school...and muscle pain from yesterday. I also recorded a cover of "Hasta El Amanecer" which is a popular song that's all in Spanish...so that was pretty different and fun. Maybe I'll share it with you sometime.
Anyway, I'm going to make some tea and go to bed.
Blessings  and churros to you all.
~Kiah
